Parsnip Cleaning Machinery for Soil and Field Material Removal

Haith’s parsnip cleaning machinery separates loose soil, debris and unwanted plant material from the crop flow. The cleaning setup can be tailored to the condition of the incoming parsnips and connected with the equipment used for further preparation.

Removing Soil from Incoming Parsnips

After parsnip receiving machinery feeds the crop into the line, soil separation can remove loose field material before further handling. The amount of soil and debris arriving with the parsnips helps determine how this cleaning stage is configured.

Removing Loose Tops Before Trimming

Cleaning can also remove loose tops, roots and leaves traveling with the crop. This is separate from cutting each parsnip to a specified length. Haith’s parsnip trimming machinery performs that operation on washed parsnips.

Connecting Cleaning with Washing

Where more surface preparation is needed, parsnip washing and drying machinery can follow the removal of loose field material. The cleaning stage can be configured around what needs to be removed before the crop reaches that equipment.
