Beet Conveyors and Elevators for Handling Lines

Haith’s beet conveyors and elevators carry the crop between the stages of a beet handling line. Incoming beet may bring soil, stones and other field material into the facility, while later transfers may involve washed or graded produce. The conveying route connects the preparation stages chosen for the crop and accommodates their different positions and heights.

Moving Beet into Soil and Stone Removal

From beet receiving machinery, the crop can move toward beet cleaning equipment or beet destoning equipment, according to the incoming field material. Conveyors and elevators need to deliver beet to the selected machinery at the required infeed position and provide a route onward after separation.

Connecting Preparation and Washing

Where beet continues through washing and drying machinery, the transfers into and out of the wet preparation area become part of the wider layout. Haith has also used water-based movement between preparation stages in an installed beet line. The appropriate connection depends on the machinery and route chosen for the facility.

Carrying Prepared Beet Onward

After preparation, the crop can move toward beet grading machinery. Separate grades may then require different conveying routes to later handling equipment. Haith’s beet machinery range shows those connected stages; its vegetable conveyor and elevator range covers applications beyond beet.
